It would in my eyes be beneficial to have a place to discuss Emacs and/or text editors in general.
This could for example be a 'text editor' topic.
This is a topic that is discussed a lot, with tips, fun things to share and things oneself wants to share, like if I would make an Emacs package/kakoune plugin.
This would remove these kinds of threads from other topics and avoid confusion in them.
So a 'text editors' topic is requested.
