Profile descriptions

I think it would be convenient if there were a way to tell more about oneself. Like, an ability to put a link to a personal website, or just any more verbose stuff than a single nickname.

Also, profiles can be made threads, so profile description is an original post and others can put their comments. This requires an ability to edit published posts to edit descriptions, though.

I can add something like this. Do you think its better to be able to click someones profile and see some info about them there? Or simply a “Introductions” board.

In my opinion first approach is better. Introductions board is not linked with the profile so one would need to search for a needed thread which is rather inconvenient.
